Fresh Coast Cycling exists to champion youth cycling by creating awareness, building community, and expanding opportunities for young riders throughout Michigan.
Parents drive the carpools. Coaches show up on Tuesday nights. Bike shops keep old bikes rolling. Race organizers build the courses. Volunteers hand out water bottles at mile three. Sponsors make it all possible.
No single organization can do all of that alone — and Fresh Coast doesn't try to. Instead, we exist to connect and amplify the ecosystem that's already showing up for Michigan's young riders, and to help more people discover where they fit in it.

The strongest word in our vocabulary. To champion a young rider means celebrating them, advocating for them, creating opportunities for them, telling their stories, and connecting them to people and resources — not just cheering them across a finish line.
Kids need places to ride — MTB, track, road, BMX, cyclocross, recreational riding, skills development, racing, community events. We don't have to run every program. We can strengthen the ecosystem that makes them all possible.
Fresh Coast isn't only for kids. It's for everyone who makes youth cycling possible — parents, coaches, teams, race organizers, bike shops, cycling organizations, volunteers, donors, and sponsors. There's a place for you in this.
Fresh Coast references the Great Lakes — the shoreline, the horizon, the water that shapes life here. It gives the brand a regional personality without needing "Michigan" in every headline.
We're starting in Michigan. But the vision is bigger: a brand that could one day represent Great Lakes youth cycling culture, wherever kids are riding along this coast.
Whatever role you play in a young rider's life, Fresh Coast has a way for you to champion them.
